Doctor Terms & RMP Declaration

These are the terms every doctor accepts to practice through greenhealtheasy, and the professional declaration you make as a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) when you register.

1. RMP declaration

By registering as a doctor on greenhealtheasy, you declare that you are a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) — enrolled in a State Medical Register or the Indian Medical Register under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (or the equivalent register for your specialty/system of medicine) — that your registration is current and in good standing, and that the qualification, registration number, and issuing council you provide at registration are accurate. We verify this information before your profile is shown publicly, and your acceptance of this declaration (with the version and timestamp) is recorded against your account.

2. greenhealtheasy's role — facilitator, not employer

greenhealtheasy is a technology platform that connects you with patients and provides booking, video-call, record-keeping, and payment-coordination infrastructure. It does not employ you, direct your clinical practice, or take responsibility for your clinical decisions. You practice independently, under your own registration, and remain solely responsible for every diagnosis, prescription, treatment recommendation, and referral you make through the platform.

3. Telemedicine compliance

You agree to conduct every consultation through greenhealtheasy in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, including:

  • Verifying the patient's identity at the start of a consultation.
  • Exercising your own professional judgment on whether telemedicine is appropriate for that patient and complaint, or whether an in-person examination or emergency referral is needed.
  • Only prescribing medicines through telemedicine where clinically appropriate and permitted under the Guidelines' prescribing rules for the consultation mode used (video/audio/text).
  • Making clear to the patient when a condition requires emergency or in-person care rather than continuing the teleconsultation.

4. Consultation records & confidentiality

You agree to record the consultation accurately — chief complaint, assessment, advice, prescription (where issued), and any referral or follow-up — in the platform's consultation record for each booking, and to keep patient information confidential except where sharing is necessary to provide care, required by law, or authorized by the patient. Patient medical records you create through the platform are retained per applicable medical record-keeping rules, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Fees & payment

You set your own consultation fee, subject to the platform's follow-up and booking-mode settings you configure. Where greenhealtheasy charges a platform fee or commission on a booking, this is disclosed to you separately and is not deducted from what the patient sees as your listed fee without your knowledge.

6. Verification & suspension

Your profile is not shown publicly, and cannot accept bookings, until an administrator verifies your registration details. Changing your registration number after verification puts your profile back into pending review. We may suspend or remove a doctor account for inaccurate credentials, loss of registration, repeated patient complaints substantiated on review, or conduct that violates these terms or applicable medical-practice regulations.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold greenhealtheasy harmless against claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your clinical practice, advice, prescriptions, or conduct through the platform — consistent with Section 2 above, clinical responsibility for care you provide sits with you as the treating RMP, not with greenhealtheasy.

8. General terms

These Doctor Terms supplement, and should be read alongside, our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where they conflict on a doctor-specific matter, these Doctor Terms apply.
