Privacy Notice
This is a short, standalone notice — required under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 — that tells you, in plain language, what personal data greenhealtheasy collects and why. For the full detail on security, retention, cookies, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
What we collect
Name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email, and address; and, if you use our healthcare features, your medical history, symptoms, consultation notes, prescriptions, lab reports, diagnostic results, doctor's notes, appointment history, and payment records.
Why we collect it
To create your account, book and manage appointments and lab/pharmacy orders, let a doctor record a consultation and prescription, deliver lab reports and medicines to you, process payments, send booking and OTP-verification emails, and meet our legal and medical record-keeping obligations.
Who receives it
Only the parties involved in delivering the service you request: the doctor, lab, clinic, pharmacy, or delivery agent for that specific booking; our cloud hosting and email-delivery providers, acting strictly on our instructions; and law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to disclose it. We do not sell personal or health data to anyone, for any reason.
How long we keep it
Account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Consultation, prescription, and lab report records for as long as applicable medical record-keeping rules require, and in any case no longer than necessary for the purpose collected. See the full Privacy Policy for exact retention periods by data category.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or ask us to erase your personal data (subject to any record-keeping obligations that override erasure), and you can ask what data we hold about you and why, at any time from your account or by writing to us.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent (for example, to send you appointment reminders or use optional analytics), you can withdraw it at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may limit features that depend on that data (e.g. we can't remind you of a booking we can no longer email you about).
Third parties & children
Video consultations run on a third-party video service and are not recorded or stored by us. If a patient is under 18, we require a parent/guardian's name, contact details, and explicit consent before creating or using that account.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@greenhealtheasy.com. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
